CANTICO

1999| Bronzo

h cm 100

A line frames the couple, drawn to define and enclose them, and within which the repeating (and the changing) of the module is visible from straight line followed by a curve, that ends here with the suggestion of love song - the two bodies yearning for religious absolution. Even the simmetry changes. From the angular cuts of the male to the gentle softness of the back and shoulders of the companion. One's eyes run spontaneously from the outside to the inside, from the edge to the centre, from the sign of the frame to the harmonic plasticity of the bodies, revealing a sweet atmosphere of intimacy and recollection, characteristic of the canticle which inspired the work.
