Dance is life. It is the conquest of space. Like the movement of sails, dance lifts the body up and away from the pull of weight, defying the laws of gravity. 

Once I take possession of a theme, I can repeat it forever, but by repeating it I change it, like a wave on the beach that comes back again and again, but is never the same.
